Explore my counseling services, specialties, and transparent pricing — so you know exactly what to expect before you begin.
All services are based out of my practice in Richland, Washington and can be done in-person or remotely. Getting started with me is simple. Click "Get In Touch" at the top of your screen, or fill out the contact form, and I will reach out to you within 24 hours to find a time that works for you. You can also text me at (509) 730-5547. I am often in sessions during the day but will respond as soon as I am able.
Services provided by Life's a Journey are billed directly to you, with transparent, straightforward pricing so you always know what to expect. I am not in network with insurance companies and do not submit claims for you, but I will provide you with a superbill upon request for your submission to your insurance company. Insurance companies typically reimburse you directly if you have out of network benefits.
I am in network with Lyra Employee Assistance Program. If your employer provides this as a benefit to you, please mention this when scheduling.
If you have questions about whether Lyra applies to you, or want to talk through your options before starting, don't hesitate to reach out using the form at the bottom of the page.

Anxiety can make everyday decisions feel heavy and keep your mind running long after you want it to stop. I'll work with you to understand what's driving it — not just manage the symptoms — and build practical tools you can use when it shows up. The goal is calm, balance, and steadier footing in daily life.
Trauma doesn't have to define you. Using evidence-based approaches including ART® and EMDR, I'll help you process painful experiences at your own pace, in a space built on safety and trust. Over time, the goal is to reduce trauma's hold on your daily life so you can move forward with greater peace and freedom.
Depression can look like low mood, exhaustion, losing interest in things you used to care about, or a quiet sense that nothing will change. You don't have to explain it perfectly to start. I offer a space to sort through what you're carrying and find your way back to feeling like yourself again.
Grief doesn't follow a schedule, and there's no right way to do it. Whether you've lost a person, a relationship, or a version of your life you expected to have, I'll walk alongside you through it — with compassion and clarity, and without rushing you. My aim is to help you carry loss in a way that allows healing.
Major change — a move, a divorce, a career shift, an empty nest, a diagnosis — can leave you feeling lost or uncertain of who you are now. I'll help you navigate the transition with clarity and confidence, and build a path forward that actually feels right for you rather than one you fell into.
Adolescence brings real pressure, and teens don't always have the words for it yet. I offer a warm, judgment-free space where young people feel heard rather than managed, working through anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and the changes that come with growing up. Parents are involved as appropriate, with respect for the teen's trust.
All session fees are listed below and can be paid with cash, check, credit card, or HSA card. Sliding fee scale available for those who qualify. Feel free to ask when reaching out to schedule.
Our first session is a chance to get to know each other. I'll learn about what brings you in, your background, and your goals, so we can create a plan that's right for you. This session is longer to give us the time and space to start off on the right foot.
A full-length session giving us the time to go deeper into the work. I offer 55-minute sessions for individuals and families, allowing space for meaningful progress in each visit.
A focused individual session for ongoing therapeutic work. These sessions are a great fit for clients who are further along in their journey and working toward specific, defined goals.
Taking the first step toward counseling is a meaningful decision and you don't have to navigate it alone. Whether you're seeking support for yourself, a friend, or a family member, I'm here to help with compassionate, personalized care. When you're ready to begin, reach out using the form below and I'll be in touch.
Crisis Note: If you're experiencing a mental health emergency, call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or 911, or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.
I typically reply within one business day.
